ASTM A213 TP304 1.4301 Seamless Tube Austenitic For High Temperature
ASTM A213 TP304 is a grade that covers standard heat exchanger or high-pressure tubes that are designed with 304 austenitic stainless steel. The ASTM A213 TP304 Tube is designed with a superior composition consisting of chromium and nickel.
This gives the tubes enhanced resistance against corrosive and oxidative media across an array of stress-induced environments. The grade covers standard seamless, welded, and erw configurations.
The A213 Type 304 Seamless Tubes are produced via an extrusion process, where hot steel billets are passed through metal to shape them in correct dimensions up to 24 inches. The absence of seam or welds within the ASTM A213 TP304 SS Seamless Tubing has excellent strength and superior load-bearing capacity in difficult environmental conditions. The material is expensive but is preferred in harsh environments where other tubes would distort.
Do you know what aspects you should pay attention to before purchasing TP304 stainless steel seamless pipe?
1. Pay attention to the appearance
Qualified TP304 stainless steel seamless pipes should have smooth inner and outer surfaces without defects such as cracks, folds, scars, etc. The passivation film on the inner and outer surfaces of pickled pipes should be complete and have clear and comprehensive product information inkjet codes.
2. View the certificate
Check the quality certificate of TP304 stainless steel seamless pipe, check the manufacturer name, production date, production (furnace) batch number, manufacturing standards, factory inspection items and related test data, special inspection seal, etc., and confirm that the purchased steel pipe meets the design or relevant requirements. Technical specification requirements.
3. Measurement size
Relevant standards have requirements for the length, curvature, out-of-roundness, uneven wall thickness and end shape of TP304 stainless steel seamless pipes. The two end faces of qualified TP304 stainless steel seamless pipe should be perpendicular to the axis and the cuts should be free of burrs.
