ASTM A403 WP321 180 degree stainless steel elbow is a high-quality,
corrosion-resistant fitting for applications where durability, heat
resistance, and resistance to chemical attack are critical. It is
commonly used in industries such as food and beverage, chemical
processing, power generation, and aerospace.
Generally used for piping, industrial, and construction. ASTM A403
is the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
specification for pressure vessels and piping components, primarily
for carbon, alloy, and stainless steel piping systems. It covers
both seamless and welded fittings. Made from 321, an austenitic
stainless steel known for its excellent corrosion resistance, heat
resistance, and weldability. When an elbow has a 180-degree bend,
it means that it forms a complete U-shape. This allows the pipe to
change direction without adding additional straight lengths, which
helps minimize material usage and maintain fluid flow efficiency.
