How to select SPD?
The first level of power protection:
According to the requirements of national standards: in the main
distribution box of the power supply should be installed Ⅰ level
test surge protector. The voltage protection level of the surge
protector shall be less than or equal to 2.5 kV. The value of the
impulse current of each protection mode, Iimp, shall be equal to or
greater than 12.5 kA when in uncertainty. Therefore, the lightning
protection box of the first stage power supply should choose
products with T1 test parameters (10/350μs test waveform), and the
impulse current Iimp is ≥12.5kA.
The second level protection of power supply: the second level
selection of T2 test (8/20μs test waveform) parameters of the

Scope of application:
Second power lightning protection box is mainly installed in the
floor distribution, room distribution and other environments, as
the second level of lightning protection of the distribution

Structure and Principle:
