Switching components
There are three types of switching components: ceramic gas
discharge tube, glass discharge tube (strong discharge tube), and
semiconductor overvoltage protector (semiconductor discharge tube,
solid discharge tube). Their advantages are: ①Before breakdown
(conduction), it is equivalent to an open circuit, with a large
resistance and almost no leakage current; ②After breakdown
(conduction), it is equivalent to a short circuit, which can pass a
large current with a small voltage drop; ③The pulse current
capacity (peak current) is large: the 8/20μs wave peak current of
the ceramic gas discharge tube is commonly used in 5kA, 10kA, 20kA,
etc. (of course there are larger ones, up to 100kA or more),
10/1000μs wave The peak current is between tens to hundreds of A;
the 8/20μs wave peak current of the glass discharge tube is
currently 500A, 1kA, and 3kA; the 10/1000μs wave peak current of
the semiconductor overvoltage protector is between tens to hundreds
of A between. ④ Except for individual semiconductor overvoltage
protectors, they all have two-way symmetry. ⑤The capacitance of
ceramic gas discharge tube and glass discharge tube is very small,
below 3pF. ⑥The response speed of the glass discharge tube and the
semiconductor overvoltage protector is very fast, in the order of
ns. ⑦The breakdown voltage of the glass discharge tube can be made
very high, up to 5kV. ⑧The breakdown voltage of the semiconductor
overvoltage protector can be made very accurate.
Anti-overcurrent and overheating protection components
The anti-overcurrent components have self-recovery fuses, current
fuses, and resistors, and the anti-overheat protection and overheat
detection components have temperature fuse and temperature fuse. A
resettable fuse is a positive temperature coefficient thermistor.
When the current flowing through it is less than its holding
current (low temperature), its resistance is very small; when the
current flowing through it exceeds its trigger current (temperature
Increase), its resistance value increases sharply, thereby blocking
the continuous intrusion of lightning current or the freewheeling
of the circuit, and it can recover by itself after the temperature
drops. However, due to thermal inertia, the reaction speed is very
slow, generally in seconds (the greater the current or the higher
the temperature, the faster the reaction). Self-recovery fuses can
be used to replace current fuses, eliminating the trouble of
frequent replacement. Thermal fuse and thermal fuse are a kind of
temperature switch components, which are short-circuited during
normal operation. When the temperature is higher than the
disconnection temperature, the switch will be disconnected
(unrecoverable). They are often used for overheating protection and
overheating detection.
Shell material:
Using international brand nylon material and international brand
