Convenient Portable Compact Diesel Generator Super Quiet Electric Start OEM
Mode of operation:
One or more diesel generators that operate without being connected
to the grid is called island operation mode. Working generators in
parallel can achieve better efficiency under partial load. An
isolated plant for the main power supply of an isolated community
will typically have at least three diesel generators, any two of
which are rated to carry the required load.
Generators can be electrically connected by a synchronization
process. Synchronization involves matching voltage, frequency and
phase before connecting the generator to the system. Failure to
synchronize prior to connection may result in high short-circuit
currents or wear on the generator or its switchgear. The
synchronization process can be done automatically by an automatic
synchronization module or manually by a guided operator. The
automatic synchronizer will read the voltage, frequency and phase
parameters from the generator and bus voltage while adjusting the
speed via the engine governor or ECM (engine control module).
Loads can be shared between generators operating in parallel
through load sharing. Load sharing can be achieved by using a
descent rate control controlled by the generator frequency, while
it continuously adjusts the engine fuel control to transfer the
load to or from the residual power supply. The diesel generator
will take on more of the load as the fuel supply to its combustion
system increases, while releasing the load if the fuel supply
decreases.
Standard unit unit:
The standard unit is widely used in the general place of
installation in the machine room. The unit is mainly composed of
diesel engine, generator, control system, frame, damping device,
cooling system, oil supply system, and output protection switch and
other parts.
Protective type unit:
Protective units are used in outdoor places where there is no
special requirement for noise. It is mainly composed of standard
unit, protective cover shell and smoke exhaust system. Since there
is no noise reduction device in the protective cover shell, as long
as it meets the conditions of ventilation and rain and snow
protection, it has a smaller shape and a lower cost. Open doors and
Windows for ventilation when the unit is running. The protective
power station can be used in parallel with single or multiple sets.
The multi-set parallel operation is especially suitable for the
occasions with large load changes, high reliability requirements
for continuous operation and low cost and economic use, such as
supporting oilfield drilling RIGS.
