The switches are housed in weather resistant polycarbonate boxes that contribute to an excellent product environment rating of IP65. The most important application areas are those for switching between mains and generator sourced 690VAC supplies. Such switches are often mounted on walls in unheated industrial sheds, factory outbuildings and even on machines themselves, so resistance to water ingress is paramount.

The units are well suited for use by panel builders, generator manufacturers, generator accessory suppliers, equipment and machine manufacturers, and in H&V applications.
