IEC60332-1 Flammability Testing Equipment Single Cable Vertical Burning Test Device
Purpose of examination:
When the wire and cable products are short circuited or contact with fire, the insulation or sheath may burn. In many occasions (coal mine, ship, subway, etc.) that require strict prevention of fire, the flame shall not spread in case of combustion, but extinguish itself in a certain time and length, which is called flameless. In some cases, if the product does not have this performance, it will cause very serious consequences.
PVC, chloroprene rubber and NBR PVC Composites and chlorinated polyethylene are widely used as insulation and sheath materials for products with non flame retardancy. Chlorine gas will be released when these materials are burned to play a flame retardant role. Sometimes in order to enhance the effect of flame retardant, some flame retardant is added. Other materials such as polyolefin can also meet the requirements of flame retardancy (and low smoke and halogen-free) by adding flame retardants.

Application:
