Transmission Line Stringing Tools Spacer Damper FR Series Shaking Damper
FR series spacer dampers can effectively prevent damage to conductors and static wires caused by wind vibration caused by wind or airflow.
The Stockbridge damper is composed of a certain mass of weight, high elasticity, high strength zinc steel strands and clamps. The installation position of the Stockbridge damper should be determined according to the construction requirements. After the Stockbridge damper is installed, it can produce a movement opposite to the vibration of the wire, thereby eliminating or reducing the unsteady vibration of the wire.

Light wind vibration characteristics and common anti-vibration methods:
1. The probability of vibration of conductors and static lines is high, because the instability of air flow in the air will cause breeze vibration. If anti-vibration measures are not taken, most lines will be in a state of breeze vibration for a period of time.
2. The amplitude is small and the frequency is high. Generally, the vibration amplitude of the breeze does not exceed 10mm [The vibration and anti-vibration of the transmission line conductors, the frequency is between a few HZ and 100HZ. For overhead ground wires, fretting wear occurs under small vibrations. If the external deposits strongly corrode the stainless steel, the fretting damage will cause the steel core to rust rapidly and reduce the impact toughness.
3. It is obviously affected by terrain, span, erection height and erection tension. Breeze vibrations are likely to occur on open ground, and the larger the distance, the easier it is to generate breeze vibrations. For high-voltage lines, the erection height is relatively high. At this time, the airflow on the ground plane is less affected by the ground wire, and it is easier to generate breeze vibration. The greater the erection tension, the more serious the damage to the ground conductor due to vibration.
4. The vibration wave of the wire is distributed along the wire in the form of a "standing wave", the waveform is a sine wave, and the amplitude of the antinode along the wire is relatively large.
