36CrNiMo16 EN30B Hot Forged Alloy Steel Bars is a versatile specification. The applications of this material are numerous and includes the following:

In Engineering: ultra high tensile applications, shafts, gears, bolts, spline shafts, crusher shafts, eccentric shafts, hard wearing bushes and high impact pistons
In mining: rock drill, knock off bits, mill hammers, cyclone plates, high tensile mechanical and thermal shock applications
In Tooling: plastic extrusion dies, die bolster rings and punches

Characteristics:

This is a very expensive steel specification not just because of the high alloying elements but also the refining methods utilised to keep the hydrogen (H) content of the steel to less than two parts per million, (H = ≤ 2PPM). It is more costly than other B.S. 970 specifications This is 1500 MPa minimum tensile steel , air hardening in sections up to 65mm diameter. Specially recommended for intricately shaped parts where an air hardening steel is preferred. This material can be case hardened , can be carburised and induction hardened or shorterised (flame hardened).

As one of the biggest ring forging manufacturers in China, our company is specialized in manufacturing gear rings, flanges, main shafts, ring forgings valve forings and pressure vessel forgings.
Our company covers a total area of 100,000 m2, including building area of 70,000 m2.
The main equipments: 5 hydraulic press machine (800T、1600T、2000T、3500T、3600T), 4 ring rolling machine (2000、2500、3500、5000mm), 5 charging machine (5—20T), 7 operation machine, 48 vertical lathes, 2 CNC drilling machine (5m), 50 horizontal lathes, etc.
