Model SM86991 life jacket light is made on improvement of Model 86991 life jacket lamp, are newly develop & produced in accordance with 1996 edition regulation, the performance properties completely comply with requirement in Revision 1996 SOLAS 1974 Edition.

according to the new standards amended in 1996,and all of their properties are complied with the standards of the “safety of life at sea”(SOLAS) (1974) amended in 1996.

Operation method

Hold on the life jacket light with left hand, and switch on it with right hand, and entered into water, then the light will give out white flashing signal.

A dry battery powered lifejacket lamp can do only operated by alkaline Zinc-Manganese battery, never acidic battery, and the user should purchase the battery themselves.

The users should check the battery condition, the term of validity should be paid attention to. If found the lamp give out red light or its flashing frequency is less than 50 times/min, it mean the battery is low voltage, the battery should be changed

Specific bulbs are mounted only, the users shouldn’t change the specific bulbs of replace by themselves. When found the bulbs don’t work well, re-supply of bulbs can only be done by original factory.
