Top hat style pallet supports are called “Top Hat” because they are shaped like the brim of Lincolns top hat! The advantage to these crossbars is that they sit down flush with the top of the beam! Top hat pallet supports are ideal for supporting the bottom of pallets stored in a selective pallet rack system. Pallet rack supports are the most economical method for supporting full pallet loads stored in industrial selective pallet rack shelving.
We recommend that top hat style pallet rack supports are tek
screwed into the beam for added support otherwise they can fall
out. The top hat pallet support has a predrilled hole at the brim
of the support that allows you to easily run a tek screw into the
step of the beam.
