Main functions of vertical lathes:
This vertical lathe machines is suitable for motor, water generator, aviation, mining machinery, metallurgy and common machinery industries machining cylindrical turning and boring, tapering and grooving roughly and finely etc.

Single Column Vertical lathe features:
1. The numeric conotrolled vertical lathe is an advanced equipment with high performance,broad processing craft scope and high production efficiency. They can be used for mechanical processing such as rough and finishing machining to inside and outside cylindrical faces, inside and outside circular conical surfaces,hollows and different kinds of curve faces and notch cutting.
2.The main shaft of workbench is centered by biserial short cylindrical roller bearing with high precision and adjustable diametral clearance. With the constant current and static pressure rack in axial direction, the workbench has the features of high running accuracy, large carring capacity and small thermal deformation.
3. The pedestal, worktable,lathe body and beam are made of ferrosteel with high strength and high wearing qualities, which are tempered to remove the internal stress and to keep their shapes from changing.
4. Scraped with hands, the guide surfaces of lathe body, beam and ram have good interface and high accuracy. With hydraumatic two-spot locking to the beam, the lathe can keep still without tremble when feeding is large.
5. The feeding of the lathe is driven by AC servomotor through ball screw transmitting motion. The beam and vertical tool posts are covered with sealing shiedl, which make the lathe more safe and easy to operate.
6. The main shaft of the lathe is driven by AC motor. With the 16 step speed changing mechanism to main shaft, the rotation rate of worktable can be changed in the scope.
7. Imported or homemade numerical controlling systems can be adopted according to user's needs.
