Fire Blanket 3732 590GSM 0.5MM Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabric
UPSE-8732D80 is a 3732 430g/m2 fiberglass fabric coated with grey silicone on
80g/m2 each side. The base cloth can resist 550℃ continuously.
Silicone coating can be used below 260℃.
Fiberglass heat insulating fabric is a light material which is
fireproof, ultra-modern design, superior Abrasion resistant,
resistant to moisture, sunlight, supremely strong. Silicone coating
performs good on electric insulation so it is always used as a
material of removable fireproof jacket for pump, valve and generators. Common weave types of fiberglass fabric are plain, twill
and satin weave. This silicone coated fiberglass fabric is satin
weave.
Base on its special coating properties, major application of silicone coated glass fibre cloth
are welding blanket and curtains, expansion joints, high
temperature insulation, heat shield and containment, removable
insulation cover, food handling operations, shrink tunnel curtains,
gasketing and release sheet/separator material.
Yarn type is E-glass G37 1/0 0.7Z.
Total weight is 430g/m2+40g/m2 per side.
Common widths we produce are 100cm, 127cm, 155cm.

About Fiber Glass
Fiberglass cloth is different in two grades: S glass and E-glass.
E-glass: E-glass is the more common used glass fiber and is used
when strength and high electrical resistivity are required. S-glass
is higher in strength than E-glass fabric and has better properties
at elevated temperatures. E-glass has high strength relative to
carbon and aramid and relatively low fiber modulus.
S-glass: S-glass is approximately 30% higher in strength. It's also
more expensive and has better properties at elevated temperatures.
The "S" designation, a registered trademark of Owens Corning,
stands for strength.
