Transparent White 4oz Fiberglass Fabric / 6522 Surfboard Glass Fiber Cloth

6522 is a lightweight fiberglass fabric, its weight is 120g/m2. This 0.12mm thick glass fabric is easy to wet out so it is bery suitable for surfboard/boat building application. There are two types of glass fiber fabric which are used for surfboard fibreglass cloth, E-glass and S-glass.

Lightweight cloth that is very common in small craft boat building. Wets out fairly transparent. Most used fabric in cedar strip canoe type applications. Used commonly for applications where a clear wet-out is necessary. It is tightly woven, high performance e-glass. High strength to weight ratio. Used mainly in more advanced composite laminates.

Plain weave fabrics are balanced which means they have the same amount of glass fibers running the length of the fabric as they across the fabric. Warp fabrics generally take the same amount of total glass and more in the length of the surfboard, can have a stronger board without adding more weight. The 4oz surfboard fabrics weigh the same between plain weave and warp. It is equally as easy to use. Like other plain woven, it delivers uniform strength in both horizontal and vertical directions, with warp and fill yarns at zero and 90 degrees, respectively.

It is very suitable for many industries. Now it can be introduced as a separately series. A series of glass fiber fabric used for sports goods, such as the snowboard, surf board and skimboard.
