"Swing gate" is a device that manages passage through swinging
motion. In the rail transit industry, it is often referred to as a
flap barrier. Its barrier body (swing arm) is a flat surface with a
certain area, perpendicular to the ground, achieving blocking and
releasing through rotary swinging. Swing gates are commonly
composed of a cabinet, control module, sensors, and a driving
mechanism. They can be integrated with card swiping, facial
recognition, biometric recognition, and other systems to achieve
multi-method and multi-directional access control. Swing gates
feature fault self-detection and alarm prompts, mechanical/sensor
dual anti-pinch, audible and visual alarms, anti-collision, swing
arm synchronization, automatic reset, and more functions. They can
also interface with various card reading devices and receive relay
switch signals for operation.
Swing gates are widely used in schools, residential communities,
scenic areas, stations, enterprises, institutions, clubs, hotels,
factories, cinemas, libraries, and other places.
