110KV lattice steel tower
Steel lattice structures of rolled equal angles, either fully bolted together or partially so in combination with welded sections. The surface of these items is protected by hot galvanisation or a suitable alternative coating. This series is divided into subgroups of specific applications, i.e. support, tension, anchor, branch or underpass towers.
In material, it is divided into three types, completely lattice angular tower, completely lattice tubular tower or combined tower by angle and tube, this tower often stub legs by tube and bracing, gusset and web part by angle steel.
In general, this type tower was widely use in Asian countries, or
even some European or other regions. We are professional
manufacturer for this type of steel tower. ‘MEGATRO had
professional QA &QC team to control quality and execute strict
QC & QC plan as per client requirements. MEGATRO is one of the
few manufactures who assemble a face of 110KV overhead transmission
line steel tower. This attention to quality may not be the cheapest
process but it does insure every tower meets our high standards of
quality. And it helps to reduce on-site construction cost due to
mismatched assemblies.
After fabrication all 110KV overhead transmission line steel tower
are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized.
Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning,
Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of
maintenance free towers. Even we take secondary finish for client
again, which as duplex surface treatment. The duplex coating
applied in our own paint shop.
Duplex surface treatment involves sand-blasting to remove 5-10
microns of the 70-150 micron thick hot dip galvanization coating.
This removes any contaminants and roughens the surface. Almost
immediately afterwards, in a controlled atmospheric environment,
water-based painting, specially developed and manufactured for this
purpose, is applied to the tower (structures) to a thickness of
80-120 microns.
MEGATRO's 110KV lattice steel tower systems can accommodate a
variety of cross-arm. MEGATRO also offers a wide variety of
accessories and mounts.
In Design, our main design engineer from USA, can use PLS software to design every type steel tower based on structural calculations and geometrical frame drawings.
To meet the expectation, we produce shop drawings, components list
and full production documentation, and even complete 3D models that
facilitate the elimination of all design and drawings errors
generated on the drawings. Another advantage is our 3D design and
loading & design report, and can optimized the design and save
cost for our clients.
