High Precision Chilled Rolls For Extrusion Laminating Equipment
Description of Chilling Roller:
There are many processes in the converting industry that require
the use of a heated roller; laminating, embossing, drying,
annealing, calendaring, and film orientation to name just a few.
These processes differ in many ways but there are common needs to
be met and problems to solve, when choosing and operating a heat
transfer roller. Today's manufacturers are looking to increase line
speeds while simultaneously reducing product scrap; all while
managing through increasingly shorter product runs and frequent
changeovers.
We professionally produce high precision chilling roller which is designed to cool the web to a specific temperature, and then passing cooling water through the roll is called a chilling roll.
Calendered film or adhesive tape were applied when in the finished roll of products shrinks to reduce the distortion caused by cooling the hot material before becoming the material roll. The material roll of products should be cooled by a chilling roller to be achieved to reduce the material deformation.
Chilling roller normally is located on the left side of the web roll drying apparatus for reducing the temperature of the web to the heat set ink curing temperature.
These rollers are used to facilitate a specific process of web handling of substrates that require proper cooling. They are used for food, pharmaceutical packaging industries; optical film, LCD screen, the solar cell industry; various types of sheet, film, extrusion laminating equipment; cast film; embossing, coating equipment, etc.
Use of Chilling Roller:
Also they are widely used for plastic, paper, textile, roofing,
laminating, winding, and extruding applications, these chilling
rollers offer high efficiency. The size and pattern are customized.
Features:
Efficient cooling capacity
Less maintenance
Dimensionally accurate
Standard: ANSI,ASTM,ASME,DIN,GB etc.

HEATED & CHILLED ROLLER PRODUCT SUGGESTIONS
Thermalon
Thermalon delivers quicker warm up times and rapid temperature recovery with lower energy consumption while significantly boosting productivity through reduced maintenance downtime and improved temperature control. Because of the standard core construction, Thermalon can be easily retrofit to replace existing liquid systems.
RC100: Ceramic heater roller recommended for OEM applications up to
350°F. Unmatched temperature control and recovery. No setpoint
overshoot.
RI200: Capable of temperatures up to 500°F. Many covering options
to choose from including rubber, silicone, ceramic, chrome and
metal. Patent Numbers: 5408070, 5420395, 5616263
Recommended for cast extrusion/embossing, extrusion coating and
laminating and pre-heat roller positions. They provide longer
service life than other hardcoat rollers. Arcotherm ceramic
coverings offer excellent resistance to scratches, abrasion,
chemicals, and corrosion, making them the reliable, cost effective
alternative to traditional chrome coverings.
TC100: Provides excellent abrasion and corrosion resistance and is
resistant to most acids, alkalis and alcohol.
TH200: Anti-dent ceramic coating resists denting, scratching and
worming.
TK400: Hard, near mirror surface offers double the life of chrome
and has excellent gloss and reflectivity for outstanding finished
product quality.
