Celtron load cell testing Bend Tear Electronic Tensile Tester High
Precise Ball Screw is designed for quick and reliable tensile, compression, bending,
shear, peel, loop tack and fatigue cycling on metals, tape,
composites, alloys, rigid plastics and films, elastomers, textiles,
paper, board and finished products.
The machine is calibrated as ASTM E4, ISO 75001 international
standard. By adding different grips it can do the test of ISO 527,
ISO 8295, ISO 37, ISO 178, ISO 6892, ASTM D412, ASTM C1161, ASTM
D882, ASTM D885ASTM D918, ASTM D1876, ASTM D4632 and all the force
and extension JIS, DIN, BSEN testing standards.

Our approach is as follows:
Samples are provided and then prepared to a known size (tensile
bar). For different types of materials, there are known property
ranges of tensile yield and elongation.
As the samples are pulled, these properties are measured to find
out if the material samples tested fall into the appropriate range
predetermined by the standard.
As the material is continually pulled apart until it breaks, you
obtain a good, complete tensile profile – a curve shows how the
product reacted to the forces being applied. The point of failure
is of most interest and is typically called the “ultimate
strength,” or UTS on the chart.
Machine maintenance
Regularly check the jaw parts of screws, if found loose, tighten
timely;
Sliding surface inlay plate and liner contact surface of the
dovetail groove on the liner should be kept clean, regularly coated
with a thin layer of MoS2 (molybdenum disulfide) grease;
Check the drive sprocket regularly and, if found loose, place the
tensioner re-tensioning.
