The aluminum handle squeegee is the basic printing tool consisting of a polyurethane blade, metal or wooden handle. Various types of manual or machine printing are available. The length of the blade is determined by the internal width of the frame, although it should allow clearance at both ends of the blade for smooth printing. In order to maintain a straight 90° printed edge on most squeegees with sufficient use, a vertical sheet is used to grind the blade along a piece of emery paper. Wood is used as a guide rail.
