Description of RMBA-01 Modbus RTU adapter module
The R-series RMBA-01 is a Modbus adapter module providing a galvanically isolated RS-485 interface. The drive parameter and data set information is mapped into a 4xxxx register area. This holding register area can be read from an external device, and an external device can modify the register values by writing to them.
System overview
The drive can be connected to a fieldbus controller via a fieldbus
adapter module.
The adapter module is connected to drive Slot 3.
The drive can be set to receive all of its control information
through the fieldbus interface, or the control can be distributed
between the fieldbus interface and other available sources, for
example digital and analogue inputs.
The drive can communicate with a fieldbus controller through a
fieldbus adapter using one of the following serial communication
protocols:
– PROFIBUS DP (FPBA-01 adapter)
– CANopen (FCAN-01 adapter)
– DeviceNet (FDNA-01 adapter).
– Modbus/RTU (FSCA-01 adapter) or Modbus/TCP (FENA-01 adapter)
–LON WORKS (FLON-xx adapter)
–Ethernet/IP (FENA-01 adapter)
– EtherCAT (FECA-01 adapter)
