1. Patient Safety
◎ Please accurately enter patient information including the name
and ID
numbers. The correct patient ID should be provided on all recorded
data and hard copy prints. Incorrect data may lead to incorrect
diagnosis.
◎ Protect the confidentiality of patient information and exam
results.
◎ After cleaning and disinfecting attachments, chemical reagents
must be
properly cleaned to prevent body harm and possible damage to the
attachments.
◎ Make sure the system is properly grounded to the hospital
dedicated
grounding receptacle.
◎ During trans-esophageal scan, ensure sanitization to prevent
spread
of disease.
◎ After each patient is done, properly sanitize the probe and
reusable
attachment.
◎ Be careful to use this system with a pacemaker.
◎ Normal operation will not cause body harm, even when the probe
surface temperature exceeds that of the body. To prevent patient
injury, do not keep probe fixed in one place for an extended period
of time.
2. Operator Safety
◎ Only qualified clinicians and medical personnel who are familiar
with
ultrasonic technologies can perform scans for patients. Personnel
without permission are not allowed to use the apparatus.
◎ Incorrect installation of the system may lead to injuries. Only
Saset
approved service engineers are allowed to install the system. Do
not attempt to install the system yourself. Take care to avoid the
danger of electrical shock.
◎ Make sure the machine is placed flat and wheels locked to avoid
machine
sliding and resulting in operator or patient injury.
◎ Do not try to disassemble this product. It will be high risk of
electric
shock. Maintenance can only be performed by qualified Saset
professionals.
◎ To prevent electric shock, the electrical power should be turned
off
before cleaning the system resulting in operator or patient injury.
To avoid operator fatigue, such as hand, wrist or arm, please pay
attention to
the following:
1. Keep the body in a stable position during the scanning.
2. In the process of operation, avoid operation repeatedly for a
long time, need
to relax the muscles at a regular time.
3. Don't hold probe with too much force and, avoid operation in
uncomfortable
position; otherwise it may result in hand, wrist or arm fatigue.
