Mill Tour
Step 1 - Coils
There are carbon steels that are going to be made into pipe and tube for you
Step 2 - uncoiler
The carbon steel coil is placed on the uncoiler
Step 3 - Leveler
The coil stock is leveled
Step 4 - Mill
Then it goes through a series of rolls that form the flat steel into pipe
Step 5 - Mill Rollers
Rolls form this size schedule into shape
Step 6 - Welder
An Electirc Resistance Welder Finishes the pipe or tube
Step 7 - Scarfer
The seam is “scarfed” to make the pipe or tube smooth all the way around.
Step 8 - Saw
Finally, the pipe and tube is sawed to length
