What's the optical bonding technology?


Optical bonding technology is using OCR or OCA to bond LCD and touch panel without air gap.


Optical bonding is one of key development directions in Touch-China. Optical bonding products with 7”~ 86”are being mass production now. Projected Capacitive Touch panel:


It’s a kind of projected touch panel with USB interface. It can support win7, win8, win10 OS and can realize 10 finger point touch.


Capacitive Touch Panel is to use the working current of induction of human body.The operational principle of the projected capacitive touch panel: There are two layers of the ITO layer under the surface of glass. This ITO layer respectively forms the electric field of X axis and Y axis, which can keep balance by crossing the surface of the class. Once the fingers approach the glass surface, the fingers and the electrode X axis or Y axis will form a new electric field, which can make the local capacitance change. Then the controller will determine the location based on capacitance changes.

  • Optical bonding technology eliminates air gap between LCD and touch panel, which helps to reduce the reflection between LCD panel and touch panel (reduce 75%), and it can make the module screen look more transparent and enhance the display effect of the screen.
  • The touch panel is closely combined with LCD panel to improve the module's strength.
  • The screen won't have dust again.
  • Optical bonding technology is more effective in reducing the interference caused by panel noise to the touch signal.
  • Reduce the display of internal lines on the touch screen.(bottom shadow decreasing).
