Having the capability to read barcodes omni-directionally is a benefit of utilizing this two-d barcode scanner. This utilizes an image sensor to capture an image of the barcode.
That image is then run in software decoder software which resides in the firmware of the scanners.
The decoder has the capability to locate the barcode based on every barcode’s exceptional features, regardless of what the orientation of the barcode is.
This also allows you to hold the scanner in similar position for each barcode with the barcode being read. User fatigue and general read times are largely reduced.
