Introduction of printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) process flow

Surface mount technology: Sensitive components, some very small
components, such as resistors or diodes, are automatically placed
on the surface of a circuit board.This is called an SMD component

Through hole technology: for components with leads or wires, they
must be mounted to the board through holes inserted into the
