Product description:

The densitometer is used to measure the density of transparent, low viscosity liquid and viscous liquid. Density refers to the mass number of substances contained in a unit volume at a specified temperature. The density of petroleum products increases with the increase of carbon, oxygen and sulfur content in their composition, so the density of petroleum products with more aromatic hydrocarbons, resins and asphaltenes is large, while the density of petroleum products with more cycloalkanes is in the middle, and the density of petroleum products with more alkanes is the smallest. Therefore, according to the density (or specific gravity) of petroleum products, the type and composition of oil products can be determined to some extent. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power, transportation, commodity inspection, scientific research and other departments.
