Aluminum profiles are widely used in life, such as door and window
aluminum profiles, curtain wall aluminum profiles, aluminum veneer,
assembly line workbench, precision equipment protective cover, rail
transit and other industries.
The aluminum profile processing process mainly includes three
steps: melting and casting, extrusion and surface treatment. It is
one of the most important links in the inspection of aluminum
profile surface. At present, aluminum profile surface treatment
technology mainly includes five categories: electrostatic powder
spraying, fluorocarbon spraying, electrophoresis, anodic oxidation
and wood grain transfer.
Principle of electrostatic powder spraying process
Use electrostatic powder spraying equipment to spray the powder
coating on the surface of the workpiece. Under the action of static
electricity, the powder will be evenly adsorbed on the surface of
the workpiece to form a powdery coating. The powdery coating will
become the final coating with different effects after
high-temperature baking, leveling and curing.

Advantages of electrostatic powder spraying
The advantages are less pollution: no organic solvent
volatilization during electrostatic powder spraying, and no harmful
gases such as toluene and diphenyl in paint and coating. Energy
saving because electrostatic powder spraying is a film-forming
process, the energy consumption can be reduced by about 30%. There
are many color choices, and various colors can be made according to
customer requirements, with small color difference. The film has
good performance, and the thickness of one-time film formation can
reach 50-80 μ m. Good surface adhesion and corrosion resistance.

Compared with electroplating, the history of electroless nickel
plating is relatively short. Its real application in industry
abroad is only in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
The application of electroless nickel plating process is nearly ten
years later than the laboratory research results. After the Second
World War, American general transportation company became
interested in this process. They wanted to nickel the inner surface
of caustic soda cylinder, but the ordinary electroplating method
could not be realized. Five years later, they studied and developed
the technology of electroless nickel phosphorus alloy and published
many patents. In 1955, they created their first experimental
production line and made a commercially useful electroless nickel
plating solution. The commercial name of this electroless nickel
plating solution is "kanigen".
At present, electroless nickel plating has become a very mature
high-tech abroad, especially in the United States, Japan and
Germany, and has been widely used in various industrial
departments.
The industrial production of electroless nickel plating in China
started late, but it has developed very rapidly in recent years.
Not only a large number of papers have been published, but also a
national electroless plating conference has been held. According to
the statistics of the articles published in the fifth annual
electroless plating conference, there are more than 300
manufacturers, but this figure should be very conservative at that
time. It is speculated that the total scale of electroless nickel
plating Market in China should be about 30 billion yuan every year,
and develop at the rate of 10% ~ 15% every year.
Electroless nickel plating is a new technology to deposit nickel
phosphorus alloy coating by autocatalytic electrochemical reaction
with hypophosphite as reducing agent. Because the shoe plating

also known as electroless nickel plating, abbreviated as en
technology. It has the technical characteristics of strong deep
plating ability, good uniform plating ability, dense coating and
low porosity. Its application scope has been extended to various
fields of industrial production. At present, it is one of the best
surface treatments in the world.
