Features:
The SW118 is a high power subwoofer system containing ONE 100mm voice coil magnet, 18” woofers in a horn-loaded, vented enclosure. The enclosure is designed to present a minimum frontal area. The system offers complete input connection flexibility for compatibility with a variety of cabling schemes.
It features Horn-loaded subwoofer and Hyperbolic folded bass horn subwoofer, and Ultra-high output subwoofer and Ultra-long excursion 4”(100mm)voice coil with Low frequency extension.
SW118 subwoofer low frequency sound using the new bass unit, without any airflow noises while working in ultra-high power, and use small volume, vented, horn preposition design, Small volume greatly reduces the group delay of low frequency band, make sense of speed of the low frequency is able to guarantee; Low-frequency unit prepositive horn structure to reinforce low-frequency strength greatly : And large areas of inverting tube is increased the ultra-low frequency output, and reduce the frequency of nonlinear distortion, so that the speed of the low frequency, strength and thickness can have it all.

The wooden cabs will give you just a hair more punch in the low end but if you're looking for real low end you should have a sub.
