How To Choose A High Quality Fiber Patch Panel?

Some buyer may pay much attention on the thickness of the panel. Thickness is very important for the fiber optical patch panel, but is it not everything. We also need to pay attention on the below points:

Mechanical parts should be with flexible rotation, can be inserted and unplugged appropriately, with reliable lock, easy for installation and maintenance. The opening angle of the door should not be less than 110 degrees, the gap is less than 3mm.

When the cable is leaded into the frame, the bending radius should not be less than 15 times the diameter of the optical cable.

The structure should be firm, the assembly should be consistent and interchangeable, no loose fasteners. Exposed sharp edges and operating parts shall be rounded.

It should has protective sleeve and gasket when fiber optic cable goes through the hole in the metal plate or go along the sharp edge. The curvature radius of the fiber core and pigtail should not be less than 30mm when they are bending in any place.

The surface is smooth, with uniform color, no paint flowing, no metal exposure, no corrosion and without burr.

The text, graphics, symbols and marks on the patch panel shall be clear, complete and accurate.
