The optical fiber is connected by an fiber optic adapter through an sleeve with a open gap, it is able to ensure the highest connection performance between the optical fiber connectors. In order to be fixed on various panels, a plurality of fine fixed flanges are designed. When it need fix to the panel, user can insert the flange to the slot or fix the flange by screws. The two ends of the adapter can be with same interface or different interface types, other than normal PC end face, and it also provides connection between APC end face.
