Description
The Industrial Proximity sensor is a type of proximity switch which detects metallic objects without any physical contact. Electrical current runs through the sensor, creating an induction loop or magnetic field which varies with the proximity of metallic objects. Inductive sensors are used in applications such as metal detectors, vehicle detection systems and industrial applications which are exposed to high temperatures, abrasion, aggressive solvents and fluids.
