1. Equipment structure, working principle and performance
characteristics
At present, most domestic decoloring equipment is mainly mechanical
mixing (straight or oblique mixing). This kind of equipment
generally has the following problems: there is a mechanical leaking
point at the joint of the mixing shaft and the equipment body,
which makes it impossible to guarantee the proper vacuum in the
equipment. Mechanical mixing has a dead angle, which affects the
heating and adsorption effect. In addition, mechanical mixing
increases power consumption. The continuous steam circulation
decoloring equipment developed by Leader is suitable for continuous
adsorption and decolorization of vegetable oils, and can be used to
produce high-quality edible oils (such as advanced cooking oil and

a. Structure
The equipment is mainly composed of shell, partition board,
overflow pipe, direct steam heating pipe, and liquid level control
system. The upper body of the shell is equipped with manhole and
sight glass.
b. Working process
The oil to be decolorized is mixed with quantitative clay in a
premixing tank, and after preheating, it is pumped into the
equipment body from the top of the decoloring equipment and falls
on the first layer of the equipment body. Direct steam is injected
for heating and blowing, when the liquid level reaches a certain
height, the mixed slurry flows into the second layer through the
overflow pipe, repeats the first layer operation, and then mixes
and heats in the third layer, so that the white clay can fully
absorb the pigment in the oil.z Finally, the mixed slurry of oil
and white clay is extracted from the decolorizing equipment and
entered into a vertical blade filter for waste white clay
filtration.

c1.The superheated steam is used to blow the material to make the
material turn evenly, avoiding dead angles and short circuits.
Steam mixing is adopted to avoid vacuum leaking.
