Description:
Determination of wear resistance of coatings
Preparation of sample
The sample substrate is made of the actual used sand or core sand,
hammered 3 times on the SAC type sample machine to make a 50*55
sample, and then dried or hardened according to the corresponding
process. The uniform coating of the prepared coating is actively
immersed on the sample substrate. The coating thickness was 1.0-1.5
mm. The sample was placed in an oven, dried at 150 ° C, held for 1
hour, cooled and placed in a desiccator.
Turn on the power, clamp the sample together, and gently brush the
surface of the sample with a soft brush.
Adjust the counter to a value of 64r and then reset.
Press the switch and the sample starts to rotate. When the value of
the counter reaches the set value, the sample automatically stops
rotating.
Weigh the paint under the iron brush to the nearest 0.01g.
Three samples of the same coating were measured and the average
value was taken.
