Stainless Steel Capillary Tubes SS Tubing 8x1mm 304 304L 316L

This smooth seamless capillary tubing is made with premium grade 316 stainless steel and is highly resistant to corrosion. This material is known for its high strength and is commonly used in HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) and GC (gas chromatography) applications. The tubing has a heavy wall with a consistent inside diameter, which makes it ideal for use with chromatography systems and other high-pressure applications. Careful control of the ID surface ensures accurate separation and identification of the gases and liquids in chromatography samples.

The stainless steel material has high ductility, which simplifies the fabrication processes and increases column life. It is also effective in a wide range of temperatures. The crimped ends limit post mill production particulates and debris. The tubing is coiled in a 3" diameter (approximately 4 wraps). Stainless steel capillary tubing OD tolerance is +.002"/-.000" and ID tolerance is ± .001".

Capillary tubes with a maximum bore of 0.0158 in., available in a wide range of stainless steels. Sandvik capillary tubes are characterized by tight tolerances, and the inside surface of the tubes is free from oil, grease and other particles. This ensures, for example, an optimized and even flow of liquids and gases from the sensor to the measuring instrument.
