Low melting fiber is an eco-friendly fiber that can be alternate to chemical adhesives; it is a bi-component type. Low melting point Low melting point has lower melting point that is 110ºC compare to regular polyester fiber having melting point 265ºC on its outer cover while keeping central part as regular polyester. The role of outer part is to meltto cause thermal-bonding. Low melting fiber has diversified applications which include automotive materials such as engine hoof, truck, ceiling material, etc; bedding & furniture such as mattress and sofa together with hygiene produces like diapers and sanitary pads.

Low melting fiber is normally blended with solid polyester fibers or recycled materials with melting point 110ºC to 180ºC.The major factor driving the market growth is due to its superior properties and is more efficient then its substitutes such as nylon, wool, cotton, and others.
