The GP1008E is a high-density 1U pizza box GPON OLT with 8 ports. It adopts Broadcom ASIC chip which is with advanced and leading technology in the industry.
The GP1008E is fully compliant with ITU-T G.984 & G.988 GPON standards, which can well interwork with different types of ONU from different manufacturers. Based on the mature and robust OS software platform from Sino-Telecom, the SAN3700-G08E system has high reliability and stability. It supports network management via CLI and SNMP, which is with good graphical management interface and is easy to operate.
The GP1008E is designed with 8*GPON service ports and supports three uplink modes (2*10GE or 8*GE or 2*10GE+4*GE). A single GPON port can support up to 128 ONUs and a single device can support up to 1024 ONUs. The device is portable and easy to install and maintain, which is an excellent choice for operators to quickly deploy FTTx network with GPON technology.
