Application of the fluted plastic sheets

The fluted plastic sheets are made from the PP (polypropylene ) or PE (polyethylene, or called polythene) resin which is the recyclable material.

The sheets are hollow inside with twin wall surfaces with ribs as the pictures below.

Physical & Chemical Properties

The general physical characteristics of the fluted plastic sheets is as follows.

The sheet has the inert chemical property with the neutral PH value of 7. The material of the sheets is non-toxic, odor-free. These characteristics let the sheets be the perfect material to make plastic boxes to store foods.

Unlike the paper cardboard which loses its rigidity when absorbing the water, the fluted plastic sheets are water and moist repellent which is suitable for the applications which need against the wet environment, such as fruit & vegetable plastic boxes which need put into refrigerated storage house, the greenhouse roofing, etc..

The fluted plastic sheets are not only repellent to the water, but also resistant to oils, almost all organic solvents at room temperature. This property lets them be the protection material widely used in many industries, such as automobile manufacture, machinery manufacture. Normally, they use plastic boxes with PP or PE material dividers to storage the automobile or machine components.

The boxes which are made from fluted plastic sheets can be washed up for reusing many times. And these boxes can be re-melted to make new sheets when broken. So they are recyclable, and environment-friendly material.

With the construction area of 10,095 m² , the plant has plenty space well equipped two extruding production lines for fluted plastic sheets, one complete production line for the plastic divider sheet (plastic layer pad ), and one complete productions line for the corrugated plastic boxes. The 40 High Cube container can be driven into our workshop directly to load the corrugated plastic sheets/ boxes into the containers.

An East European customer bought one 40 HC container of corrugated plastic sheets for construction in 2016, and he imports 5 40HC containers from our factory per year now.
