Combination rollers have a steel drum on the one hand and on the other hand a set of rubber wheels, therefore the so-called combination roller. The combination of tandem roller and rubber-tired roller makes it therefore on the one hand a combination of high compression ratio of the vibrating metal blade tracking and on the other hand a high surface cap through the rubber tires (dispersing effect). The result is top-notch sealing and grading of the surface.
The projecting of an emulsion through a specific sprinkler pump prevents the sticking of asphalt to the tires.The combination rollers are mainly utilized for road construction, highways and airport runway construction.
