Description


The Cisco GLC-LH-SMD compatible transceiver provides a high performance and cost-effective small form factor pluggable module for 1000BASE-LX/LH Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel application. It fully complies with the SFP Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on the MSA compliant networking equipment. The product is tested to be compatible with Cisco networking equipment including Ethernet Switches, Ethernet Routers, Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Media Converters. It is an ideal equivalent to Cisco GLC-LH-SMD 1000BASE-LX/LH long-wavelength DOM SFP transceiver but with much lower price, which provides a reliable compatible transceiver solution for system integrators, distributors and end users in network infrastructure and fiber cabling.


The SFP transceivers are high performance, cost effective modules supporting dual data-rate of 1.25Gbps/1.0625Gbps and 20km transmission distance with SMF.The transceiver consists of three sections: a FP laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.
