Description


The ACS armored cable slitter supplied by ANC International Co., Limited is designed to work on jacketed or jacketed and armored multi-fiber cable. Its main porpose is to gain midspan access to bare fiber by slitting the outer jacket or jacket and armor on the cables. This ACS armored cable slitter is designed with a precision adjustable blade to avoid damage to the fibers. The cable diameter range is 4mm to 10mm for ACS-2 slitter, and 8mm to 28.6mm for ACS slitter.

Professional-grade tool ideal for slitting the armor layer on fiber feeder, central tube & stranded loose tube fiber optic cables, as well as various other non-fiber armored cables
Versatile design features a guide wheel for stability to accurately slit the outer polyethylene jacket & armor in one step
Performs longitudinal slitting & circumferential (ringing) stripping on cable ends
Red guide wheel blade lever activation rotates the blade 90° to easily prepare cable mid-spans

Adjustable blade depth to 5.5 mm maximum to accommodate different cable jackets
Cable guide wheel provides cable stability and allows for easier tool movement along the cable
