OVERVIEW
Monel 400 is woven into an extremely corrosion resistant wire mesh
material. This is a plain square weave (over one, under one).
Weaving meets ANSI/AWCI - 01 -1992 and ASTM E 2016-11 and RRW 360
This alloy contains approximately 67% nickel, 28% copper, and 5%
other elements. Werkstoff No. W.Nr. 2.4360, W.Nr. 2.4361 UNS N0.
4400 Resists salt and fresh water. Good around most food. It is
considered a high strength material. We can generally certify
chemical composition is per ASTM B164-03(2008). Standard
specification for Nickel-Copper alloy rod, bar, and wire. Monel 400
MAXIMUM CONTINUOUS SERVICE TEMPERATURE IN AIR 538°C 1000°F
