Description of Coal Hopper Wagon:

This open hopper wagon is special designed for carrying bulk goods such as coal and ore. Wagon unloading is done via two pairs of doors. The doors are operated pneumatically. The air which operates doors is taken from the train brake pipe. The doors can also be operated by manpower. The wagon is loaded from the open top and unloaded from two sides of wagon.
