Instant cereal breakfast corn flakes production line
The twin-screw extrusion technology is at the core of this very flexible and scalable process. This technology is ideal to meet the market demands and breakfast cereal manufacturing : many raw materials are eligible with coating recipes such as sweet syrups, honey, chocolate and other compositions. We share our process knowledge to process healthy and balanced products made with wholegrain cereals or including a mix of multi-grains like corn, wheat, oats, rice, barley, rye, Buckwheat or barley Our automated production lines are used to produce consistently high quality products while keeping the same organoleptic characteristics as traditional flakes.
The main raw material for production of corn flakes is
cereals, which has the corn flour. The mixer is used for mixing
powder to make it fully and evenly mixed. The mixer is used while
adding into the formulation the cocoa, starch, etc.
The raw using the screw conveyor is fed from the mixer into the
feeding hopper of the extruder . Twin screw extrusion installation
carries out the thermal-chemical treatment of initial raw, coming
after the preparation stage. At the exit from the extruder we get
the semi-finished product in form of balls, which are discharged on
vibrating to prevent the gluing. The semi-finished product is fed
from vibrating conveyor into the flatting machine with pneumatic
conveyor, where the semi-finished product is flatted using two
shafts, moving in different directions.
Then the product comes on horizontal conveyor and air conveyor for
consequent loading into thermal dryer, which is designed for
continuous drying of the products, coming out from the extruder.
During the process of transferring products along conveying system,
the moisture is evaporates out of them. The product is then
transported to a hot oven by a small elevator, which makes it
crispy , Here the product loses the residual moisture and gets the
golden crust.Pass through the hot oven and then arrive at the
flavoured sugar spray system
The product is exported to the last oven, drying the coating on the
surface of the product and ultimately packaging
