The types of fully automatic welding robots are basically
differentiated according to the welding method. In fact, it can

divided into two types: argon - arc welding and non - melting argon
- arc welding. Their working principles and characteristics are all
different.
When the fully automatic welding robot uses non - melting argon arc
welding, the generated arc burns between the non - melting pole and
the workpiece, and an inert gas that does not chemically react with
the metal flows around the welding arc to form a protective hood.

protects the arc and molten metal for welding.
In contrast, the obvious difference between the two is that the
former uses a protective gas; the latter uses a wire as an
electrode and is continuously melted into the molten pool to form a

However, argon arc welding is the main welding process for fully
automatic welding robots. On the one hand, argon gas protection can
isolate the adverse effects of oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen on the
arc and molten pool, and reduce welding defects happened. On the

and it is not limited by the position of the weldment.
