35KV optican fiber communicable fault locators and Fault circuit indicatos withdata controlling box for cable
one whole system is composed of 1 panel indicator , three short-circuit indicator .one earthed indicator and one data transmission unit, the communication protocal is IEC101 OR IEC104.
Part 1: Panel indicator
1. Summary
TYHD-1 panel type fault indicator(be called indicator for short
below) is mainly used for indicate short circuit fault and earth
fault on the On/Off panel, and used for output wireless signal.
Data transmission Unit is applied in power distribution network, used for data gathering
and transmission for load detection ,fault detection and location
in cable.
2. Working principle
The principle is micro-controllers with little power consumption,
micro-controllers can automatically identify fault signals from
short circuit indicator and earth indicator, They can display the
fault signals using LED flashing lights on the spot and output the
signals by wireless.
Date Transmission Unit is to make photoelectric translation,process and analyze the fault signal from short-circuit fault indicator and earth fault indicator transmitted through optical fiber.then send the fault signals to master station by GSM or GPRS after analysis and processing to realize fault detection,fault location and load current measurement of power distribution network .
3.Installing methods

3.1 Fault indicate function
The lights on the L1,L2,L3,and Earth buttons will flash with a
5-minutes interval,if the short circuit fault or earth fault
occur.This can be returned to the original condition automatically
according to the time delay set by the factory or by pressing
button of “Reset/Test” manually.the low battery capacity of the
indicator is show on the panel by wireless,The indicator of low
battery voltage will flash at the same time(with 4 seconds
interval).
3.2 Reset/Test function
Restore:press the “Reset/Test” button slightly,then restore after
all lights have light.

3.3The method of changing battery
Take off battery as Chart 1 and Chart 2,then exchange.
Take off the battery and replace the new battery follow the
picture1 and picture 2
4.Function
4.1 Show short circuit fault and earth fault locally.
4.2 Self-reset ,the interval time of self-reset can be set before
delivery from factory (The default is 12 hours).
4.3 Reset or self-test manually.
4.4 Set the addresses of the indicators

Part 2 :The cable indicator of short circuit fault
1.Summary
The TYHD-1cable indicator is suitable for the cable 35kV system
(including bellow 35kV system).It can indicate while there is short
circuit ,measure electric current,measure temperature(temperature
probe attached) and transmit data.It can help line finder find the
fault quickly .shorten power-off time,improve the reliability of
power supply,be convenient for users to monitor the load current of

2.working principle
The principle is clip-on line sensor and intelligent controller .
The intelligent controller control as the core with little power
consumption ,The clip-on sensor can measure the load current on
real time,and transmit the current data by fiber timing. When a
circuit has a short circuit fault,The cable short circuit indicator
recognize it automatically ,then judge intelligently ,then display
locally.At the same time transmit the action signal to the panel
type indicator installed locally by fiber,which can display locally
on the panel .Of course,It can transmit the data to fiber type
monitoring terminal by data remote interface,realizing the remote
transmission of fault signal and measured data.
3. Installing methods
3.1 Clip the indicator on the line as shown in the pictures1.2.3
3.2 Connect the data remote interface of the indicator to fiber
transmitting terminal by short-distance fiber.
3.3 Connect pulse port of the indicator to panel type indicator by
fiber.(the pulse port not needed to connected without panel
indicator)
Note:
Put the fiber to the end,and tighten the nut.
The length of the fiber should be less than 15m,The shorter the
distance ,the higher the reliability .
The fiber section is cut flat with a paper cutter, which is
beneficial to the transmission of fiber signal
After the test completely cover the rubber cover,in order to avoid
abnormal indicator accused by long-term light leakage
4.Function
4.1 Install and disassemble easily,be suitable for Cable lines with
a diameter of less than 40 meters.
4.2 The short circuit fault can be found.
4.3The line load current can be detected in real time.
4.4The faults can be indicated locally by flashing.

4.9Fiber data communication:
Indicating locally by transmitting the action message from fault
indicator to panel indicator(no panel indicator is not available).
Translating remotely by translating load current and action message
to cable terminal by fiber.

Part 3: cable earthed fault indicator
3.1 Summary
TYHD-1 cable earthed fault indicator is applied to cable system below 35KV, with function of zero-sequence current measurement and data transmit function, it indicates fault when earth fault happened in cable, It can help line finder find the fault quickly .shorten power-off time,improve the reliability of power supply,be convenient for users to monitor the zero-sequence load current of line on real time.The picture of product is below:
Using specially designed open zero-sequence CT as sensor of measuring zero-sequence current, micro-power consumption intelligent controlling chip is as core to real-time measure zero-sequence current online and timely transmit current data measured through optical data interface. When earth fault happen, indicator will automatically distinguish fault current characteristics to judge earth fault intelligently, then transmit the data through “data remote transmit interface” and “panel indicator interface”connecting to DTU and panel indicator through the plastics optical fiber to realize remote transmitting for fault signal and measured data.
