Oilfield Drilling Mud Horizontal Vacuum Degasser for Solid Control
System
General Description:
As one of the necessary solid control equipment for oil drilling,
the degasser effectively eliminates the oil associated gas
returning to mud from the wellhead and the gas in the invaded mud,
which ensures the appropriate mud weight during drilling process
and effectively prevents blowout from occurring.
The jet vacuum degasser (Fig. 1 and Fig. 2) designed by our Company
is featured by large processing capacity, high separating
efficiency, wide application range, etc. It is used to separate the
gas and liquid involved in the drilling fluid at various
parameters, with the viscosity range within Marsh 20-80s. The model
of this product includes ZSCQ/120, ZSCQ/180 and ZSCQ/240.
Working Principle:
With the vacuum pump sucking, a vacuum draws the mud into the
standpipe in the degasser chamber and the mud will be further
ejected to the surface of corrugated fiberglass leaves htrough the
holes on standpipe. This expansive multiple-leaf surface area
spreads the gas-cut mud so that entrained gas bubbles are brought
to the surface. The gas collects at the top of the chamber and
exits the vessel with the aid of a vacuum pump. The degassed mud is
drawn from the bottom of the vessel through a high efficiency
eductor. As shown in Fig.10.
