APPLICATION :
The XLPE covered aluminum cable- 35kV Voltage Class is constituted
by a compact round conductor, composed by aluminum strands, blocked
or not, and with a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) covered in
black or gray color, with special characteristics to be resistant
against electric tracking and UV-rays. Primarily used for overhead
service applications such as street lighting,outdoor lighting,and
temporary service for construction.
CLASSIFICATION :
Temperature : - Normal operation 90 o C. - Emergency overload
conditions 130 o C. - Short circuit conditions 250 o C. - Voltage
rating : 35 kV phase to phase.
AC TESTING VOLTAGE : 38 kV for 5 minutes
REFERENCE STANDARD : TIS 2341-2555 / MEA / PEA
Structure:
Conductor : Compact stranded hard drawn Aluminium wire.
Conductor shield : Semi-conducting cross-linked polyethylene.
Insulation : Cross-linked polyethylene (Natural)
