APPLICATION
The complete Impact testing machine model XJ-50Z is a digital
indicated, electronic releasing pendulum testing machine.
Functioning semi-automatically. The complete frame has made tense
losing processing to guarantee its intensity. Be applicable for non
metal material impact test such as, hard plastic, reinforced fiber
compound material, nylon, glass-fiber, ceramics as well as
insulated materials etc. It has been widely adopted by many
Institute, universities and inspection centers.
FEATURES
Model XJ-50Z complete impact testing machine conformed to the
following norms: International: ISO179 plastic CHAPRY and ISO180
plastic IZOD impact test method, National: GB/T1043 CHARPY and
GB/T1843 Hardened plastic IZOD impact test method machine
industrial standard: JB/T8761 Plastic impact testing machine.
3. Transportation and installation: 1) Unloading / Transporting the
package, please avoid sloping its package, impact and strong
vibration is prohibited. 2) Before installing the testing machine,
please clean the anti rust oil on the machine, meanwhile; please
use soft cloth to wipe the surface of machine to clean dusts, and
please do not try to remove the accessory during this procedure. 3)
Working condition should chose one that without vibration and keep
it away from causticity medium. 4) Testing machine should be
mounted on the steady base, and its weight is suggested become 40
times than the pendulum that in use. Level standard 0.2/1000, and
preserve foundation bolt on the base.
4. Structure and working principle The structure of this machine
please refer to diagram A and diagram B. 1)Please chose proper
pendulum energy according to the impact sample, It is suggested to
chose a pendulum with useful available energy within 10-80% range,
so that the impact energy is included in this range. To install the
pendulum: please release the fasten screw (A-7), keep the
positioning bolt on the impact pendulum (A-4) inside the
positioning hole on the axes (A-10), Connect the up-cover (A-8) and
fasten the screw. 2) The Charpy testing machine can be changed with
its supporting span to suitable for different specimen. Use inner
hex spanner release the bolt, moving the anvil left or right; Clamp
the centering plate on the impact edge and make the anvil touch the
centering plate scale. Remove the centering plate after adjustment.
3) Put on specimen, release the fasten screw on the movable plate,
turn the wheel to adjust the distance between impact edge and
specimen so that the two spaced with 0.5mm. after this procedure,
fasten the screw. On condition that using notched specimen, adjust
the centering place of specimen through one caliper. 4)After
setting specimen, lifting the pendulum (A-4) until it is hanged on
the position lock (A-10), Then press the impact button on panel
(A-5) and the pendulum will be released automatically. Machine
record peak absorbed energy. 5) Refer to ISO standard for test
results processing.
