Introduction:
The use of steel structures in tall buildings has the following
advantages over the use of concrete structures:
(1) Steel structural material has high strength and light weight
The steel structure has high strength. Compared with the concrete

area are small, which can increase the effective use area.

structure column accounts for about 3% of the building area, and

(2) Steel structure construction speed is fast

transported to the site for integral assembly by welding or
bolting. It can be used all day, because the steel structure itself
can be used as a load-bearing structure for the construction load
to reduce the formwork during construction, thus not only reducing
costs, but also greatly speeding up Construction speed. The
construction speed of the steel structure is about 1.5 times that
of the concrete structure.
(3) Convenient pipeline layout
In the structural space of the steel structure, the truss type
member or the member having the cavity can be used, so that the
arrangement of the pipeline is convenient, and the replacement and
repair of the pipeline is convenient. However, if a concrete
structure is used, the beam should not be opened, and the pipe
generally passes under the beam, thereby occupying a certain space.
In the case of the same floor height, the floor height of the steel
structure can be smaller than the floor height of the concrete
structure, which can reduce the area of the outer wall.
(4) The steel construction environment is less polluted
When steel structure is constructed, sand, stone, soil, cement and
other materials are rarely used, and pollution problems such as
dust flying, waste accumulation and noise are avoided from the root
wood.
(5) Steel structure construction conforms to sustainable
development policy
The steel structure industry is a green-bag environmental
protection construction industry. It is relatively reasonable in
the use of resources and energy, and has relatively little damage

problems. Steel is a material with a high recycling value and scrap

2. Foundation system
