PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) is a synthetic diamond product that is produced by sintering together selected diamond particles with a metal matrix, using sophisticated technology. The diamond and matrix, when sintered together under high temperatures and pressures, creates a PCD tool blank that is high in uniform hardness and is abrasive resistant in all directions. PCD Inserts is made of PCD tips( cutting from PCD blank) and a carbide substrate.

Natural DIAMOND CUTTING TOOLS ARE MAINLY USED FOR THE ultra-PRECISION MIRROR processing of RED COPPER and copper alloys, precious NON-ferrous metals such as gold, silver and RHOdium, as well as special parts, such as video camera disk, optical plane mirror, multifaceted mirror and quadric mirror. But its crystal anisotropy, the cutting tool is expensive. It is mainly used for turning all kinds of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, magnesium and its alloys, hard alloys and fiber plasticizing materials with strong wear resistance, metal matrix composites, wood and other non-metallic materials. The cutting speed, feed speed and cutting depth depend on the workpiece material and hardness. Because there are some residual bonding metals and graphite among the diamond particles, the bonding metals will reduce the wear resistance and life of the tool if they are distributed in the coalescent state or in the vein shape. In addition, there are residual solvent metals, which are in direct contact with the diamond surface. Reduce the oxidation resistance of PDC and the heat resistance temperature of the tool, so the cutting performance of the tool is not stable. The preparation process of diamond thick film tool is complicated because of the high interfacial energy between diamond and low melting point metal and its alloy. Diamond is difficult to infiltrate by ordinary low melting point solder alloys. TDF welding tools cannot be used in high speed milling because of their poor weldability and difficulty in making tools with complex geometric shapes. Diamond-coated cutting tools can be applied to high-speed machining, because in addition to the excellent mechanical properties of diamond-coated cutting tools, diamond-coated milling tools can be prepared with arbitrary complex shapes, which are used for high-speed machining of aluminum titanium alloy aviation materials and difficult non-metallic materials such as graphite electrodes.
The handle chamfer layout clamping is easier, the laser marking quality of the handle is more guaranteed.
